ALTON, NH, August 25, 2009: Eye Help Animals, LLC and Zoo Atlanta have signed a Memorandum of Understanding outlining a simple Partnership Agreement to help fundraising efforts to keep their giant panda program in Atlanta. The cofounders of Eye Help Animals, LLC, DJ Geribo and Jim Fontaine are excited about the partnership formed with Zoo Atlanta.

Zoo Atlanta announced their “Give So They Stay” campaign on June 17, 2009, and need to raise $500,000 by the end of December, 2009. Their original 10 year giant panda lease agreement was about $1.1 million per year, zoo officials are hoping to negotiate a new lease at a much lower cost per year.  After hearing a news segment on a Maine NPR station about the campaign, Eye Help Animals cofounder Jim Fontaine contacted Marcus Margerum, VP of Marketing and Sales at Zoo Atlanta, to discuss how Eye Help Animals may be able to assist with their campaign.  The end result is that for the duration of their campaign, 25% of the profits from sales of Eye Help Animals Giant Panda Eye Wildlife Collectible Pins, available at www.EyeHelpAnimals.com, will be given directly to Zoo Atlanta’s “Give So They Stay” campaign.

Eye Help Animals, LLC, located in Alton, NH, was founded in 2008 by Jim Fontaine, owner of Positively Creative Solutions, LLC and his wife, professional artist DJ Geribo.
By combining their individual talents with their shared passion for saving wildlife, Eye Help Animals donates 25% of its profits to a growing list of wildlife conservation and habitat preservation organizations.  Both are active in multiple community organizations and have been longtime supporters of wildlife protection organizations.
